Sports Injuries
Sports injuries can occur to either the neck and back (see spinal sprain / strain) or to the arms and legs. Sports injuries are generally one of two types: an acute injury or an overuse injury. An example of an acute injury is a sprained ankle and an example of an overuse injury is tennis elbow. We often see specific injuries related to certain sports. For example shoulder injuries with sports that use the arms like tennis and volleyball and ankle sprains in sports with lots of foot-work like basketball and soccer.
